| Institute
of Business Ethics
The Institute of Business
Ethics (IBE) was established in 1986 to encourage high standards
of corporate and business behaviour and the sharing of best practice.
Our vision is to be the
leader in knowledge and practice of corporate business ethics.
We achieve this by raising
awareness of companies to the issues and by helping them to build
relationships of trust with their customers, employees, suppliers,
owners and the communities in which they work. We do this through
the exchange and discussion of experience on issues relating to
the conduct of business. We speak for business on business ethics
issues raised by the general public and media.
We offer companies practical
help and advice on business ethics matters relating to their organisation
and the training necessary for their people to understand and
solve business ethics dilemmas within the corporate context.
We offer individuals
invitations to meetings and discussions, discounts on publications
and access to our Library.
We offer the media data,
informed opinion and other assistance.
Our work is based on a
programme of research, publications and events covering national
and international issues of business conduct.
Our team apply their practical
business experience of the issues that organisations face to fulfill
the Institute's vision.
